Mastership - the professional award for diplomats.
A person with an outstanding intellect, who has submitted a published work of outstanding skill and his or her work has been accepted, acknowledged and accredited as Qualified Certified Diplomat. By holding the Mastership award, you will demonstrate the skill, expertise, competence, mastership and integrity needed to meet the challenges of trade negotiations and development, dispute settlement, anti-corruption and commercial diplomacy today. Mastership shows that, the Competent Commercial diplomat has achieved the professional standard of expertise and competence, and that the association has officially recognised that.
The aim of the Mastership provisions is to provide for the regulation of Certified Commercial Diplomats and to bring them in line with the rest of the global professional bodies. Only those who can fulfil the criteria of Knowledge, Competence, Dedication, Good Standing and Advanced Professional Development can be awarded and referred to as 'Certified Commercial Diplomat'. This in sense provides the 'bench mark' for professional commercial diplomats. By gaining qualifications and experience, the competent commercial diplomat can work, through the Association, towards gaining the coveted goal of being Chartered.
Chartered Diplomat

Chartered Diplomat was founded by Council on Commercial Diplomacy of ACCD for those who were able to satisfy the Association's criteria (By achieving a certain standard of expertise and competence). Chartered Diplomat is awarded worldwide only by the Association of Certified Commercial Diplomats to experts, specialists and experienced ACCD members who have an in-dept knowledge of specialist areas of trade policy, negotiations and development. Specialist commercial diplomacy skills relevant to their professional work practice, responsibility based upon trade, economic and commercial diplomacy and a commitment to maintaining commercial diplomacy expertise through continuing professional education.
Supported by governments
Chartered Diplomat is supported by governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, government ministries and a very large number of major and influential institutions. Many trade, economic and commercial institutions are now recommending Chartered Diplomat programmes and status to their executives and or members of their boards. Chartered Diplomat is awarded only by the ACCD and it's the highest award that recognizes commercial diplomats capabilities as a competent, skilled, specialist and strategic leader in the field of global trade, economic and commercial diplomacy.
